Uncle Tony Remembered

Created by rbridgfam 9 years ago
I am so glad that my wife Elaine and I had a wonderful stay about 12 days ago with Uncle Tony and Aunt Sally on our visit to London. I remember my Uncle as a very soft spoken, well versed, a very smart man and of course his sandals. Even though he was retired, he was always busy with his research, which I would always ask about on my visits. He always put everyone else first, helped when needed and made sure everything was OK. This was reconfirmed on our stay the other week when my wife and I were staying with Tony and Sally and we had an early departure, there was Tony up early in his Pyjamas and slippers making sure that we had some tea and making sure we were ok before we departed for the train. I will see you again Tony in a few days at your memorial but you will never be forgotten. If everyone was like you the world would be a beautiful, remarkable, and peaceful place, with everyone looking after others. You will be missed. Rob Bridgwater-Nephew Cambridge, Ontario,Canada
